Pick Your Battles
Someone please teach me what this saying means. I thought I knew. But lately everything seems to be a battle worth fighting. My question of the day is this: How do you turn the other way when it seems the only thing that matters is money? Any suggestions would be helpful. Many times I feel powerless to change things when I know they should change. Is praying enough or do I need to take action? I’ll be waiting!

Hmmm… interesting question. Hard to answer without knowing a bit of the context.
Money is never THE solution to anything, although there are certainly times when it helps.
In general, I think action follows prayer, almost always. That action comes in many different forms.
Battles worth fighting are those where God will get the glory in the end. Again, that's in general.

I know. Unfortunately, I can't give a lot of detail because it doesn't only involve me. Basically, me husband always tells me that I should realize and accept the true nature of people. I just can't do it. My expectations seem reasonable but always prove not to be. You're always helpful, Karen.
