We are born broken, separated by sin from God our Father. Jesus, His son is the bridge for that brokenness.
We are broken because someone has abused our hearts.
We are broken from pain and disappointment.
We are broken when we realize our wrongs and give them to God to fix

We are rubies because we are beautiful.
We are rubies because we are precious.
We are rubies because we are rare and priceless.
We are rubies when we are wise.

Only God can take us from raw and broken to whole, beautiful and precious.
A ruby is a beautiful and precious jewel. Each facet is uniquely known wholly by the Creator. When it is broken, it can only be restored by Him. "The sacrifice you desire is a broken spirit. You will not reject a broken and repentant heart, O God." Psalm 51:17 "Wisdom is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her." Proverbs 3:15
